The pictures speak for themselves. The Cameroon National Theater on stage in the Ibn Rachiq theater hall, Carthage,Tunisia.
With a strict rehearsal schedule, the national theatre was set to occupy the stage of the Ibn Rachiq theater hall. Hundreds of spectators trooped in at the opening of the doors, anxious and excited to watch what the Cameroon indomitable lions of culture had to offer.
Darkness covered the hall yet hearts were beating, then the lights came on exposing the cultural decor, voices could be heard, actions displayed and there was the narrative of the play; LA DERNIÈRE AIMÉE, keeping everyone glued to their seats. The suspense kept rising, gentle murmuring here and there and outburst of laughter at certain scenes. That was the general atmosphere in the room. It was one show that according to a spectator KAMEL Hleli, a journalist, was self explicit and presents the evolution of the woman in the cultural scene.
Once again, the Ensemble National with it’s National Theater under the tutelage of the Ministère des Arts et de la Culture – MINAC has raised the flag of the continent so high.
H. E. the Ambassador of Cameroon to Tunisia Mr Samuel DJOBO and his collaborators kept to his words by honoring the team with his presence. He made the promise of attending the show when the team visited the embassy.
Actors from Burkina Faso came out in their numbers and could not hold back their admiration for the performance.
Looking forward to the closing event.
